Oak Framed Extension
This modern Oak Framed garden room extension was created as a “problem solver” – the extension had to fit below an existing wall and under the eaves of the existing house – which necessitated a low roof construction – a post and beam “pergola” style roof was created from air dried oak. The roof included 3 flat skylights to maximise the light in the room and to reduce the effect of the low roof. Folding sliding doors allowed the full side of the extension to be opened up to the garden.
