This ultra low energy house features, triple glazing, whole house mechanical ventilation, very high levels of insulation and solar hot water heating; built to Passivhaus principles it requires virtually no heating, in fact it has been designed so that it only requires heat when outside temperatures drop below -5 degrees C.
